We are Mother's and Father's who have lost our young, youth or adult child; to a senseless crime. We are fighter's who will never give up; on what we know is wrong. Our Justice sytem has disappointed not only we parent's; but also our children, who were innocent. Murderers are walking our streets, knowing they can bring harm to our child and spend less time in jail than going to Court. The government, is made up of people just like us, who are parents. The only way anything would change; is if one of them had their child's life endangered. Until then, nothing will ever change! We are parents, whose children, are found dead on the streets; their bodies covered, under coroners sheets. The reasons for their dying, is bullying, of someone who's had a bad day, and our child just got in their way. We are parents who want our stories told, for their rights as Human's in the Charter of Rights; we are told. So our voices they will hear, throughout the world if we join together, without any fear. Afterall, whats the worst that can happen? We are already serving a life sentence for our child's innocence. |
